It's as simple as this: why did you decide to use RPG Maker?
As for me, it all started back around 2000-2001, when I first downloaded a Dragon Ball Z RM95 fan game from a site that got me interested in this kind of thing. Obviously, I started with RPG Maker 95, and I first started my project with it in the Spring of 2002. I guess the reason why I decided to wanting to make my own games with it was because I liked how there were some really nice fan games (and some bad games) created by gamers like myself at the time, so I considered it. Since my childhood, I've always wanted to be a professional game developer (not as much anymore, since there is not much room for the 8-bit/16-bit nostalgia developers anymore) by making my very own game, ALL by myself to show off and impress my friends at school. Who wouldn't feel glad knowing that other people would acknowledge your talent and creativity with making video games? Hopefully, I may start an indie game company with internet friends and work as a team to develop games, whether it be in RPG Maker, Sphere, or even MUGEN (which I also used back in the past alot). --------------------
