Simulation RPG Maker 95 was released a year after RPG Maker 95 and allowed the user to create tactics like RPG's similar to the Fire Eblem series. While Sim RPG Maker 95 retained the user friendly layout and design of RPG Maker 95 it required a basic understanding of the program to properly use. While very poweful in its day it was overlooked by the maker community due to its lack of a help file or resources. However unlike other maker programs that faded away shortly after being released members of the maker community kept Sim RPG Maker 95 going. Updated translations were released and member submitted resources and tutorials kept the maker alive, despite there best efforts Sim RPG Maker 95 faded away. The last good translation released was by Code Mason and Holbert, they included a user created help file and links to various Sim RPG Maker 95 sites. However their translation did not work on Windows XP causing it to become obsolete. At the same time another translation done by PhoenixX_2 was making the rounds, the only good thing about his translation was that it worked on XP. For the most part if was poorly translated and contained font problems present when using a Japanese program on a non-Japanese operating system. It also didint contain the original RTP, instead it contained some makeshift RTP the borrowed resources from a few of the sample games "Kikimaru" and "Protalie". Another translation done by DrazardX using PhoenixX_2 translation appeared, besides making very minor changes and changing the version number to some obscure number DrazardX translation was total ripoff of PhoenixX_2's translation.
