Description:
RPG Maker 95 was the successor to ASCII’s previous PC maker RPG Maker Super Dante 98. Originally translated into English by TNomad of KanjiHack, the RPGMaker series was already popular and well known due to KanjiHack's previous releases of RPG Maker Super Dante 98. KanjiHack released an almost complete translation with about 5% untranslated not accounting for mistranslations and bugs. TNomad had planned to release a complete version but were unable to finish their translation due to a cease and desist e-mail from ASCII's (original creators of RPG Maker) lawyers. Don Miguel took over the translation finishing the last 5% and released RPGMaker 95. Afterwards RPG Maker 95+ (rm95+) was released that was mostly centered on fixing translation mistakes and spelling errors. The latest version of RPG Maker 95 released is version 1.23XP by Stifu and Don Miguel. This version introduces a cleaner translation while fixing some known bugs though the biggest improvement is RPG Maker 95 can now be used of Windows XP. This latest version is however an unofficial version but is strongly recommend if you want to use RPG Maker 95 on any Microsoft OS past Windows 2000.

I was able to dig up an old interview the leader of KanjiHack did with a RM site, it explains what happened to the group and what they were currently doing at the time. Click hereto read the interview.
