    Hi.

To make one gadget be attackable i MUST necessarily desginate an attack area right? And also designate the damage...

I wanted to make an easy enemy that runs from the player gadget and doesnt hurt him, but whenever it touches the player gadget it makes it flash....

Maybe some of you guys knows a better way??

Go in your player gadget and go in the Emergence settings.

Look for the box called ''Other'', in this box should be an option called ''Do not flash on taking damage''
check the box and you should stop flashing. :D

Good luck in your project! >w

        Hey Keitsukun!

Indeed this project of mine is giving me headaches! I wait foreward to play your castlevania i really love them all.

About the flashing, yeah i have seen this option already, the problem is that i WANT my player to flash when it gets attacked, i just dont want it to be attacked just by touching any enemy.

Let me be clear. Its a cat, and i want her to get bonuses by hitting a little ball. But it makes no sense that the ball attacks her....

Well if you or the guys come up with another idea, please help! For the moment i have none.

But thank you for at least trying!

So you want to flash but not when being hitted by this specific ennemy.. >_
          but Id need to know 2 things about this infamous ball;

          -does it rebound?

          -does it dissaper when touched?

            Yes it rebounds,

            and no, It doesnt disappear.

When the cat hits it a bonus comes up for a while (for each hit). After that it still rebounds, but leaves no bonusses (like if the fun is over for the little cat)

I already unchecked the flashing option but it didnt get very cool....

                Yeah....

And it doesnt get attacked at all... and i tried to make the attack area with a size of zero, but it still makes the cat flash.

And if i make its attack rate = 0, equaly it cant be attacked.

I kind of made it works, but i still needs some testing... Not with the ball, but with a yarn (wich woks for bonus like the ball). Its a non enemy gadget that has one action when it gets attacked.

But in the game theres also mices and other preys, and i want them to have a life or something, and by this way of mine im gonna have to make their lifes as specific memories, and the problem is that i dont know how to do one "memory life" for two or more enemies of the same kind.

I mean, if the cat attacks one rat, its gonna do damage to all rats........ it sucks.

Well, Igmaker is incredible, but it seems to be very limited in lots of ways. Many of my ideas are simply not doeble. Well thank you for your time, man.

                Soit Bien mon ami!

This quote figures alot of thing o_o

If you set the attack area at size 0x0 it will still count as an attack area.
You need to upcase the "None" Option within the animation label.
Or, if the situaton requires it, place the attack area at the 9999x9999 position. That way it should be off screen so technicaly disabled.

                  hope it'll work out :/

Hummmmm this seems to be like a good idea!

To put in an distant area off-screen, yeah! Im gonna try it

If i upcase the none option its simply not gonna let the gadget be attacked, but i think you found a solution!

                    Thank you o brother!
