Well i have another question, and i am ashamed its a really noobish question.
How do i use the "score" function? when configuring gadgets, i can assign a "score" which adds to the score when said gadget dissapears, but i don't have the option to choose where that score is stored, so i asumed it was the default Score variable, so i made in my in-game menu a display for that particular variable, thought it would show on-screen the current score (like my current lives, used the same method and worked just fine), the problem is i get a "0" on screen, and it doesn't change, so the variable is displayed but from what i see, when an enemy dies the "score" isn't stored onto the "score" variable.
Hope my question makes some sense and sorry if this is a really noobish question.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Dont worry youre not the only one who has this problem. :P
Iv never been able to make the score variable work
So just create a new varriable, call it "Score2" and make the ennemies add score trough thier dying action.
Thats how I do mine at least :/

your answer makes perfect sense, but still its not working =/
i get just a zero on screen even to i set all enemies dying animations to add to the Score2 variable (and the menu is linked to this same variable)

thats weird .. :/
Did you checked if you have enough space for the numbers?
If the sprite base isnt big enough, all its gonna show is the last number of the score.

you are my new hero =)
i didn't know i had to set a size for that, it was just 16x16, no wonder i had only a 0 in there, not to mention for some reason "no. of digits" was set to 1, i remember putting it to 8 but must've ended up without saving it =/
