Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums and the IG Maker program....learning it each day. But I've run into a really weird problem. Hoping you guys can help me with it.

On the canvas layout screen, it won't let me place selected tiles.I can select the tile and it acts like it's going to place the tile...but then nothing happens. I was wondering if there was a step I'm doing...on something I haven't clicked?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if I understand it right, but if I do, you're missing to things.

First of all, ready the help file, there have precious information about the canvas, so, go ahead and explore the sample games. After all, start to configure your game, import the Tileset, set it in the "Tiles" menu, select the graphic imported and rename your tile001 for the name of your preference. So, you'll go to the "Canvas" menu, there you need to select your Tileset in the "Per canvas settings", if it don't appear there, just click in another selectable option of the "Placement method" field and click again in the "tiles" option in the "Placement method" again, so, you'll just need to select your tileset in "The tile to be used with Canvas" field.

So, come back to the first sub-menu and paint the scene. The first tile, A1, is setup to be the tile used to clear and delete, so, if you have any important tile there, just reorder it to another place in your tileset.

Be sure to don't leave the "Paint" option, in the left side of the screen, ON, click on it and select to be OFF.
