IGM wont work on Windows 7, after double click on the exe file it loads a few sec. and wont start up, no error code.
Is there a patch to get it working ?
I also tried compatible mode or to turn off its Safety device wont work either.

The 64-Bit patch is only for those running a 64-Bit version of Windows. Its completely useless for those running a 32-Bit version of Windows. As Gabe sad, try running the program as an administrator.
I'm using Winodws7, 64-Bit and have no problems with IGM.

I vaguely recall someone telling me about a similar problem with AGM where they would see the logo and nothing after that. We could never figure out the problem, I'd suggest reinstalling both IGM and the DirectX files.
Re-Uploading my AGM patch is on my list but it's not a priority. If AGM does work for you then I'll re-upload sometime tomorrow. However you should use IGM for compatibility reasons.

That could be it, try re-installing the DirectX files and running the install as an administrator, Right-Click > Run As Administrator.

First, my apologies if I'm necroposting, though it's only been about a month since the last post; I would also like to apologize for making this my first "contribution" here. That said, and unfortunately, there really isn't a whole lot I can do as far as asking questions about this.
I messed around with the Japanese version of Action Game Maker, no problems whatsoever. I decided that the proper thing to do, since it really intrigued me, was to go ahead and purchase the legit English version of IG Maker which I did.
I'm currently running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit edition. I have the 64 bit patch. I've changed the security settings of the location where my software is installed and have run the install using "Run as Administrator" as well as attempted to run the program "Run as Administrator".
Thus far, it's a no-go.
When Windows tried to solve the issue it told me I needed to update my Adobe Flash (strange, I thought, though I know it can export games in flash and so didn't seem too far fetched). So I downloaded and installed the latest version of Flash (v10.01).
Still a no-go.
Given that I've had other problems running some programs on my 64 bit OS, and from everything I've read as long as I perform a complete reformat I can install a 32 bit OS on my machine, I sense that putting my 32 bit copy of Win7 might be my only hope.
I'd rather not do this (if only because I hate reformatting machines); but thus far I can't seem to figure any solution to my problem. Ideally, of course, I haven't royally screwed myself out of 60 USD and have to return to using AGM with the English patch (though very well may have to I have issues even after installing Win7 32bit or if I can't install 32 bit on my machine).
If--and I suppose it's a big if--anyone has figured out a solution to this, I (and I'm sure many others) would be supremely grateful.
Thanks for your time anyway.
EDIT 9/8/2010:
I went ahead and decided to reformat my hdd and installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 32bit. The program works presently, however a new issue has presented itself. I've sent a technical support email on the official site in hopes of getting an official response, though I don't know how reliable their technical support is, so I'll offer my query here.
Whenever I attempt to testplay (or after exporting, playing from the executable) I receive a fatal error, namely: "IGPlayer fatal error" "There was an error selecting or acquiring the device." I googled this very problem only to come to a very solid dead end, that is I have only found a handful of other people having this same issue without any responses whatsoever. Given that I know others are having no trouble with this software (the majority, it would seem) I'm convinced there's a solution, and any help--any at all--would likely cause me to lift my voice in hallowed praise for whoever helps me fix this.

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, that was another problem that we were never able to figure out why it happened or how to fix it. I know some people had some success on getting a copy of IGPlayer/ACPlayer that worked for someone else.
