i had a question
is it possible for IG maker to create a 3rd person shooter? like wild guns? and also, if its possible, can i use mouse as the crosshair mover?
this is the basic step of "seeker" my IGM game. a dedication for Wild guns (as i think its should be in shooting gallery genre as it similar to cabal/blood bros/ nam 1975)

Seeker is an indie game. tell a story of 4 person and they are "seeking" an answer. its a "Retmo" (retro modern) project that i decided to create
basic example is that Seeker is not using a life. but instead a health. meaning that if your character get hit, you will not die except get hurt. the storyline is very long, in the end, the 4 character will join up and the "tag" system is unlock which you can switch into other character to prevent game over (even though you have 4 character, if one of them is dead, the game is ended)

Not easily, it would be much easier to create a top-down shooter using the Action RPG template.

i see
maybe i should make it into top down shooter. maybe i will do it like "shock troopers". than again, game that scrolling will be difficult to drawn. as i draw everything from character animation (sketch, scan, adobe coloring, top it of with "vector magic", and shrink them) to background. and the reason of why i want to create that genre. because all you need is the "before background" and "after background"
but what the heck. a bit dedication to work will not kill me

It is too simple, just use the mouse option (in the enemy gadget setup), make every shoot able to be clicked, enjoy.
If you wanna do a "Metal Slug" clone, use in the player gadget a gadget slave, call the slave as weapon and make it follow the mouse, doing each fixed pose one by one, 360º, so, check where the mouse is on the screen every 0.2 sec and make it get oriented by the mouse. Many work, but easer to do as I said.

but to bad, because deadline of my manga (sky edge) is 24 august, i have to cancel my game. the manga will be posted on deviantart
focus to finishing the 1st volume of sky edge
