1. DISCLAIMER
====================
This will in no way alter the behavior of RPG Maker VX other than change
Japanese text to English text.

I do not own rights or am in any way affiliated with RPG????VX or
Enterbrain, Inc. This is merely a fan translation for English speakers in
the RPG Maker Community. I fully support the official release of
RPG????VX/RPG Maker VX. If Enterbrain, Inc. asks me to remove this file,
I will comply immediately.

====================
2. INCLUDED FILES
====================
- RPGVXJPN.dll (Contains Translated Program Text)
- README.txt (This README File)

====================
3. RELEASE NOTES
====================
2008.01.13 - Initial Release (100% Translated)

====================
4. INSTALLATION
====================
1. Extract "RPGVX_ENG.zip".
2. Open up the directory where you extracted "RPGVX_ENG.zip".
3. Close RPG Maker VX if it is running.
4. Copy "RPGVXJPN.dll" to "C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGVX-Trial" or the
directory you installed the trial to.
5. If asked to overwrite the exisiting file, select "Yes".

====================
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
====================
Q: How do I open the zip file?
A: If running XP or Vista you can use the built in compression software,
WinRar and WinZip are good alternatives.

Q: What should I do if I get an error while opening the zip file?
A: The file might have become corrupt during your download. Delete the old
file and try downloading it again.

Q: The fonts in RPG Maker VX are too small/big, how can I fix this?
A: By default the fonts used are MS UI Gothic and UMEPlus Gothic with a font
size of 9 and 12 respectively. Because this is a foreign program intended
to run on Windows in Japanese, running it on Windows in another language
may cause font display problems. A simple fix is to install East Asian
Language support. To do this, open up "Regional and Language Options"
located in the "Control Panel". Select the "Language" tab and select
"Install Files For East Asian Language support" and click "Apply". You may
need your Windows Installation CD so it can copy the required files off it.
Once completed, restart your computer.

Here's the answer to the question that will be posted.

Q: Whats the difference between this translation and the other one?
A: As stated by Pisteleh himself
QUOTE
I became tired with the grammatical errors and incorrect translations in the previously released English translation so I went ahead and made my own.

this seems to work ok - but there is still a great deal untranslated. For example, monsters, skills, weapons, etc. Did I do something wrong or does more need to be done?

Yes, I only translated the editor. The project files are not within the DLL file and I wasn't going to package the project files with my translation since it might pose issues on some forums and Elemental Crisis already translated them. That's why I posted a link to his translation in my post. (IMG:https://rpgcrisis.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I haven't had time to write a tutorial on this but here.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/cso9g3

This contains both the MS UI Gothic fonts, extract them somewhere and copy them into C:\Windows\Fonts.
