Welcome to the RPG Crisis Community Forums

Hello there traveler!

They call me Norman the Expressionless and I was instructed to seek you out, the wanderer. You must be something special for them to hire me and come find out. I wonder what makes you so special; perhaps you have some super power and are destined to save the universe! Just kidding, they told me to find you because you have nice hair and they want to harvest it to create the perfect hair.

So yeah, you should totally join this fine community they’ve established here. Heck, if you need even more reasons I suppose I can list off a few of the perks.
  • Gain complete access to our Download, Tutorial/Script and Resource Databases.
  • Be a part of an ever expanding community and create your own legacy!
  • Get support for a wide range of maker programs, were experts on them all.
  • Discover your true purpose in life, maybe even become one with the force.
  • Make new friends, allies and enemies.
  • Participate in thoughtful, intelligent conversations aimed at expanding your mind.
  • Request translations for foreign maker related sites, games, scripts and tutorials.
I could keep listing all the awesome benefits and perks but why not discover them for yourself?

This summer I am basically doing what I always do everyday: nothing.

I play video games more in the summer than other times of the year, being the perfect time for me to play a backlog of games as it is an industry drought. Most games worth buying are released fall through spring, and the summer is for the leftovers.

Work, sleep and video games. Summer for me is just the hot version of the rest of the year. But here in Texas, summer feels like it runs from March to October... Though I do have a little road trip planned to drive 5 hours south to visit my family I haven't seen in several years, since my brother will be out of school.

I play video games all day, every day, all year round. It's probably the #1 obstacle distracting me from *making* games, because it's easier to sit back and play one and I can get pretty lazy. Path of least resistance, you know? It doesn't help that it's E3 time right now and I'm all excited. Sony just announced that PlayStation Plus members will be getting a whopping 12 free games this month -- all games I don't already own, and will be added to my ever-expanding backlog.

I'm on the better end of a mild hangover myself. Drinking and playing M:tG go well together. Maybe too well. Makes deckbuilding take forever though...

And I'm going to a birthday pool party tonight. Gonna try to avoid the jello shots and stick to beer. Wouldn't call myself an alcoholic, though, since I don't drink often, but when I drink, I DRINK.

Hopefully I'll be able to transition into the work force or whatever. Though before I do that, I'll probably go ahead and move to Arkansas.

But on top of all that... lots and lots of video games, and sleep.

Something tells me you and I would make great drinking buddies.

Fuck all, except looking for a job that isn't gonna exist because there is hardly any work where I live

Regret not going to uni now.  May still not have a job by the end of that, but atleast I'd be doing something constructive with my time, like learning new skills, developing a career, and getting shit-faced during.

You could always take an online course or independently learn a skill in a field you enjoy.
