Character Maker Pro is the follow up to Enterbrain's previous graphics editing program, Character Maker 95. What makers Character Maker Pro different then other graphics editing programs is that it was designed for use with Enterbrain's other maker programs like RPG Maker. This allows users to easily make graphics for any maker program. This release is also the first widely available English translation.

Character Maker Pro, released in 2003 by ASCII and ARGENT replaced Character Maker 95 as the official graphics editing program for the maker series. Due to the rarity of this maker and an equally rare but poorly done English translation many graphics editors have been called Character Maker Pro.
