XIME
Xenix Independent MMO Engine

XIME is a MMO Maker I've been working on for several months now. Anyways. I suck at writing paragraphs so I'm just going to post a features list.

Features
  • Many game modes (RPG, FPS, etc)
  • Lua Scripting
  • Ruby Scripting (PENDING)
  • Full Game Library
  • 2D
  • RPG Maker layout
  • Unlimited Tilesets
  • Unlimited Maps
  • Easy to use yet advanced when you need UI
  • Server and Client are seperate
  • Both are completely compatable with Windows, Mac, Linux
  • High quality video and audio rendering
  • and much much more!

So ya.

Site coming soon.

Suggestions for features and a name are COMPLETELY welcomed.

Thanks,
clone1018

P.S: It's written in the C# language.

Cool, it'd be nice to have a powerful WYSIWYG MMO maker.

News: My hard drive crashed and I lost the project files. I am going to start keeping them in a SVN Repo now. smile.gif

So I am going to take a quick questionnaire.

1. Should I use XNA or OpenGL or a home made engine?
2. Lua or a custom ruby scripting engine (similar to RGSS2)?
3. Should the map files be stored local or on the server?
4. Should I allow MySQL as a valid database?
5. Do you have any suggestions?
