Just make sure to post some substance when raising an old thread from the grave. "I agree" or asking a question of someone who hasn't been seen in months should generally be avoided. Otherwise, this forum isn't active enough to warrant 21-day rules and crap.

I made a few topics... Well, OK, except for my introduction thread I made ONE topic in the Anime section. It doesn't seem like anyone else is interested in that Anime, though. It's also very hard to get someone to watch an Anime just by using words. So yeah, that's why there isn't a single reply yet ! But that's OK. I'm used to that. After I'm done with my RM2K v1.51 translation I'll post a new topic anyways. It's really looking good so far btw. I'm defenitly not someone who disregards quality of his projects. Unlike the older translations I somtes completely changed the layout of a window for an easier understandable and simply better translation. I also have what I think noone had before: An almost perfect Enter Hero Name Fix that comes with the translation. The only downside is the fact, that it only allows 6 letters (like the Japanese original). But it's way better then any EHN Fix before that (except for the fix of the person who explained me how to do it; his fix (version 1.07) looks exactly the same, but features 10 letters).

Anyways, instead of talking, why not just posting some example screenshots?




Also as you might see I made a font based on MS Gothic. Actually I just converted MS Gothic (and MS Mincho) to a Font Type that has less characters (256) and is easier editable. I wasn't sure if sharing those fonts was legal (you know, with all that copyright stuff etc.), so I just converted them into a format that shouldn't cause problems since those fonts are very different from the originals. Anyways I called the fonts RMG2000 and RM2000 to avoid compatibility issues with the users of older RM versions. In my opion those fonts look a lot nicer then Don's fonts, though.

I also forgot to mention that I completed the Database translation. Well, except for two characters that I haven't located in the program yet. Both of them are symbols used to indicates ranges. Once it's a "`" (Example: [50`100]) and once a Japanese form of "~" (Example: [50~100]). I want to replace both of them with a regular "-", but I haven't found either one of them in the hex code yet.

After that everything left are the Event Commands, most of the System Messages and the Setup.exe.dat. I won't translate the Help File again because it's too time consuming and because there already excist many good tutorials and a somewhat OK Help File translation that explain everything important.

Hmm... Not really I guess. Just my website and a bunch of RPG Maker forums. Anyways one of those communities is most likely the biggest RM2K(3) community in Germany and I know that, if it will be accepted there, it will spread around really fast. It might not be easy, though, since most people are focused on RM2K version 1.07, especially because of the Patches released for it. Then again if it comes to the translation itself I see my own translation as way superior to Don Migues's !

Anyways, it's 3:50 AM here. Gotta go to bed 8-P !
