ok heres the topic, what music style do you feel is bad and why?
basicaly none of the rap is shit, you need to at least have a reason.
and yeah you can question what others are saying and try prove them wrong but remember you cant force someone opinion
have fun

I wouldint say its just on style of music thats "bad", how do you define bad? Bad lyrics or bad beats or an overall sense of bad just because its not natural? Like for example lots of people hate rap because well people rap and its no all lolly jolly. I like rap because it has a good beat thats easy to get sucked into, I cannot stand country because they sound like thier losing thier voice.
I really dont think there is a bad style just bad artist with crappy songs.

well i guess what i meen by bad is a style of music that you dont like or you wouldnt go out of your way to listen to it.
and maybe there are some reasons for that behind why you dont like it.
lets take heavy metal for example, i dont like it because its fairly hard to heard the notes and the lyrics and without those i realy cant see any point in listening to it

well...i like and dislike lots of music styles...so...here are some:
rap: bad lyrics, bad beat, bad rythm, bad melody, bad riffs, bad everything. i like music music, not people talking. it's just poetry, minus the poetry part.
country: slow. boring. dont like the lyrics. reminds me of bogans.

rap: I am familiar with a lot of the stuggles rappers go through like sterotypes and haters. a lot of times people assume if u r a rapper u have no skills in writing or a sense of sociality dispite th fact that a lot of rappers I know go to the studio and cut their track with nothing written down(ala Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie and lets not 4get my boy T.I. HOLLA BACK atl.
Fight Songs: Anything from Rim shot to cape town can make a sea of fans become a tidal wave of spirited warriors. being in band for about 8 years has helped me understand the importance of the 12th man in football or 6th in b-ball. these beats and rhythms can give a crowd life and get the team crunk anytime anywhere!!!
R&B: boy there is nothing like a lil rhythm and blues to lay the ladies down. check out your guy r. kelly, Mr eisley, Ruben Studdard is getting in on the act too. this is your love music so if u have trouble talkin to a female let the song do the talking for you.
Hip Hop: perhaps the most versatile type of music in my opinion. this does include but is not limited to crunk music. you can listen to this around your girl, your boys your parents because its not as off the wall as rap or metal. to me this more western music is always gonna keep it G in my book.
Metal/Rock/: I started listening to this when I first moved to right before I moved to Atlanta. I'll admit I was scared to listen to it cause where im from its like treason to listen to this stuff but the more I listen I can understand how anyone can be drowned in it. its so electric and outwardly expressive u cant help but pump a fist and jump around. in many ways its a lot like rap to me just these is far less emphasis on bass and a lot more guitar and vice versa for rap.
dislikes:
yoddleing: someone please tell me why is this around. a whole buch of guys with no rhythm had to invent this because even I cant dance to that and I am a freestyler. I wont say its garbage so I wont offend any who likes it but for me it holds no meaning.

I agree with EC... there is no bad style of music... just bad songs within that style. I mean, even Country Music has at least one good song.

Country does have one good song...
...one song good enough to get the whole CD smashed. Seriously, I have experience. I used to listen to country when I was little. Bad stuff...
Anyways, in all seriousness, I like heavy metal. Rap occasionally, but it has to be original...and not this pop shit.
