I do have a question though...do you know how to do login scripts without just locking the directory through cpanel?

and for your question, yes, that's what I use in my site. I made my own login script. I can also implement it in IPB and PHPBB..

I may have to request a login script for my portfolio site in the future...lol. I cannot ever get sessions or cookies to work for me. I'm probably doing it all wrong.
