Good Evening Everyone,

While this is a little late I''m hear to let everyone know that Action Game Maker has been officially released in Japan! To celebrate, Enterbrain is having a contest with the prizes being an XBox 360 Elite and a 12 month XNA membership to those who have purchased AGM! Enterbrain has also updated their TKool website, the menu section has been changed. Looks better IMO.

Were going to be updating the site in order to reflect the release of AGM as well as change a few things up here and there.

Also don't forget about our AGM Trial English Patch,

Yipes! It's $108 >_, but at least I'll be able to afford it soon enough. By the way, are US citizens eligible for the 360? I'm pretty sure it'll be an NTSC-J console though, but just wondering.

That would be funny, you legitimately buy the Japanese version of AGM, register on that site and happen to win.

360 wouldn't work with games in the US so it would be like a giant paperweight.

This is pretty exciting. No news yet on a Western release yet, right? Not that it matters, I really can't understand what to do in Action Game Maker, anyway. It does not seem user-friendly to me. Almost messy at times. I can't tell what anything really does... uu;

The interface is pretty... i dont know.. sloppy to me.. even in english i dont know what is what.. or how to go about making anything in particular, i feel it could have been made more simple like the RPG series of makers.

Simply making a map could have been made simpler as well.. i do not even get this .. flow control thing... not that you can do much in the trial anyhow, which is BS in my opinion. angry.gif

Im not going to buy a maker i can not do anything with.. .. not sure what i will do now.. go back to just using RPG maker i guess.. i get this feeling it would have been better if AGM had been 3 different makers for 3 different types of games rather then one maker mixing things like they did.

It feels too much like game maker..

I'm working on a tutorial on understanding layers and how to use them.

Layers are used when making your canvas (map).

I already figured that much out, but since they limit so many things, you can not really learn with this trial how to do anything.. im looking at some things going... derrrr.. they should have started you right at the maps, with a starting postion, everything like in the RPG maker series, it is simpler like that, they complicated this maker.. i have a feeling japanese users will complain as well.. maybe thats why they came up with the plug in idea, so if something is not working they can make a plug in to change it so it can work differently if how it is made does not work.

But im not paying so i can try out everything.
