I'm sure some of you have heard of this - it's only one of (if not THE) most popular 2006 anime series. It's easily become one of my favorite comedies ever, and I'm sure many feel the same. For those of you who haven't seen any of the episodes, I'm commanding you to download them NOW. Go to Fansub.tv (bookmark this page) for all the latest episodes. Here's a summary of the show, taken from ANN:

On the first day of high school, a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behavior is Kyon, a boy who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. Commenting on Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting, Kyon unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after-school club. Thereafter, Kyon and several others find themselves literally dragged into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).
It's a must watch and if you're reading this and don't watch it, I'll hunt you down. Mark my words. It's loaded with comedy and is looking like it might turn into a good romance. The first episode might put some of you off becuase it's really weird, but please wait until at least the second episode to judge it. It really starts with the second episode...the first is just really random. And yes, my avatar is from the show. I made this GIF from the ending sequence (which is hilarious). |

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has 14 episodes in all. There are only 11 episodes out so far though, I believe, and only 10 of them have been fansubbed.

It's really popular so it's pretty fast. An episode is released every Tuesday.

The last episode of the season is going to be released next Tuesday, so if you want you can wait until then and there will probably be a batch torrent.
