So I finally got a PSP a couple days ago. I bought the Daxter bundle as well as Riviera: The promised land and I got Jean De Arc for free thanks to the Sony retail site.

Overall I'm really impressed with it. The PSP is pretty light and my hands dont feel awkward when I'm playing.

Is it a Slim?

If so, I'd advise finding a friend with CFW and making a Pandora's Battery.

I've thought about it and I don't think I'm going to "hack" my PSP. Call me crazy but I actually like owning a physical copy of console games and handheld games.

Nothing wrong with that. (IMG:https://rpgcrisis.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If I ever managed to obtain a second PSP then I would hack it.

With my PSP, I had it hacked, but I only Dump the games that I have already bought (Which funnily enough is legal, as the law says that if you do not own the game, you can only keep it for 24 hours before deleting it). Also, after being hacked, you can increase the CPU speed and when you run the game off the memory stick, it runs a HELL of a lot faster.

yeah, but it does consume much more battery power. I've got mine set to the max atm, because I'm home, but if I'm on a trip i usually decrease it. And regarding the 24 hour law. I think it varies country to country, but I''ve heard its a bit of a sketchy law, and I'm not sure you should trust it. What I'm saying is that it's most likely illegal just to download a game off of the internet. Even if its a game you own, unless its your, personally ripped, game data it is illegal.

Just thought I'd clear that up. (IMG:https://rpgcrisis.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well in the UK, where I live, I know that we can have downloaded content for 24 hours before deletion unless we have it physically. It is as you say, most likely varying from place to place.

There is no legal 24-hour window, it is just a lie and an attempt to get around the law.

I actually researched it in my area, and when I got a response, they said that you can have it for 24 hours before deletion, after that, it is theft. Oh well, things might have changed.

I'm also living in the U.K, but I'm not sure about the laws regarding possession of pirated content. The laws change fairly often anyway.

That 24 hour law has been around as long as the internet. I remember seeing it on ROM sites years ago.

Yeah, I think it may have been more valid in those days though.
