RPG Maker 95 was originally translated into English by
KanjiHack and when released it became a huge hit. However there were a few translation mistakes, untranslated words, and bugs that were caused by the translation. KanjiHack was unable to finish his translation due to a cease and desist e-mail from ASCII's (original creators of RPG Maker) lawyers. Don Miguel took over the translation fixing all the problems and released the new version as RPG Maker 95+ (RM95+).

Even though RPG Maker 95 is considered inferior to its successors it was considerably easier to use when compared to its successors and is even still used today.

RPGMaker 95 is not compatible with Windows XP and above. You will need to download the patch in order for it it work in Windows XP and above.
