Important!
This is not for Indie Game Maker! This is only for the people using the Japanese version of the program known as Action Game Maker. This will do absolutely nothing if your using Indie Game Maker.

Final Version
Version 1.20 will be the last update I make to this patch. You can read all the changes and fixes which are listed below. Unless you bought Action Game Maker I suggest switching over to the official English version known as Indie Game Maker.

What This Patch Does
This patch will patch Action Game Maker allowing you to use the program in English!
What This Patch Doesn't Do
This patch will not remove any limitations, crack ACTKool.exe or bypass the activation window. It's a straight language patch.

Install Instructions:

Applying The Patch:

Before you apply the patch make sure you've updated Action Game Maker to Version 1.01. If you try and use this patch on Version 1.00, Action Game Maker will not work correctly. Copy the following link into your browser to be taken to the update page. I recommend you apply the full update (990KB One), the one for Action Game Maker and the Sample Games.

In order for this patch to work correctly you must place it in the directory where AGM is installed.

Once you click "Patch", the patch will do all the work for you.

Sorry, were not going to be adding the retail version of AGM to our downloads. If you want it your going to have to purchase it. There are alternative ways of getting it but we don't discuss not post how to.

I seem to be having a problem with the full retail 1.10 new patch. I save it where the full game is located under my program files and when I hit patch it says can not find the file. Search the file? I click yes and locate the ACTKool.exe file manually, but for some reason it does not recognize it. I have Windows Vista and have admin rights, would I be doing something wrong?

Are you using the Fresh Install patch or this patch? Also try renaming the folder from its Japanese name to Action Game Maker.

I renamed the folder like you said and it worked, thank you very much! Now I can get down to business with this wonderful program.

Stupid question but do you have AGM running? Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if the process ACTKool.exe is running. If so terminate it and try again.

Try restarting your computer and run the patch again. If your still having problems I can make a patch that will force it to patch.

Why when I run this patch does AVG tell me a file in the AGM folder named open_site_unpacked.exe has a trojan named "Trojan horse Corrupted E."?

I know AVG is really good at finding false positives, please tell me this is a false positive...

It's a false positive, nothing to worry about.

open_site_unpacked.exe is whats used to open your browser to the patch information page and nothing else.

I used to use and like AVG but I would get so many false positives from it. Once told me Microsoft Word was a backdoor trojan.

Once I click "View File", a message "You are not allowed to use this part of the board" appears.
I'm sorry my English is so poor that I cannot find what should I do to be allowed to download it. Could somebody help me? Many thanks.

^^^ I have the same problem, the site will not grant me access to the files that allow me to download the patch. I was able to find an older version elsewhere, but I ended up with the same problem as MysticTrunks, so I need the updated patch that force patches the files, but the only place I could find it is here, where I cant access the files to download it. Thanks!
