Hey everyone, I found this site basically in a sig at rpg revolution and thought I'd join since it looks nice. My names Erick and I work with Game Maker 7 PRO for RPGs since XP seems to limiting, VX woulda been awesome if it weren't for mapping. I can however optimize it's map engine to make better maps than VX but it takes too long that's why I like GM, maps are easy, scriptings easy, and I got total freedome.
I'm currently working on a ABS similar to the Legacy of Goku 2/buus fury. |

Hello!
Make sure to keep us updated on your ABS, I'm intrigued. I feel the same way about VX, if they had not limited us to one tileset it would of been better then XP. Hope to see you around! |

While it's limited, you need to think though, how much tiles are honestly tiles? Castles, houses, and trees, even rocks are objects NOT tiles, so technically you can fit everything you need in a vx tileset.
I was able to replicate XP mapping in VX without pans, but it's tedious work> |
