The game is back in development with a new storyline. I'll be adding new main characters, first ones by the order of posts. I may not take in many though, because I already have a lot! xD

Attack of the Spammers is an RPG Maker VX game that features the RPG Crisis Community, in a battle with a sudden uproar from the legion of spammers that haunt the core of RPG Crisis.

The project was started up by D.N.Angel, but he allowed me to continue it since he could not.

It will have a large cast of Crisis characters as Main Characters, and a huge amount of cameo appearances from other members who are not playable.

Elemental Crisis:Owner or the forums and strongest person on site, he can use a variety of weapons.

NES Player: Please Remove

Liana:Being the only female staff member(that i know of) She commands with a iron first, and when that doesn't work she takes out her sword and bow to force her commands on others. Beware of liana's iron fist and he Gaint sword.

Ndrd:He came out of nowhere and became a staff member in no time flat, He is a master of the dark arts and can destroy anyone or anything quickly.He almost never specks and when he does its never good.

Megaman8x: A Self centered, arrogant brat who thinks only of himself and finds enjoyment in putting other down. This is one member you do NOT want to be friends with or even talk to for the matter.

Random Hero:Like his name says, this young fighter 's action are always random and with his bow in hand you shouldn't be surprised if he started shooting you instead of the enemy just to get a good laugh.

Allen Hunter: Please Remove

Bandito:This young man uses both white magic and swords.Since he majors in swordplay his white magic abilities are limited to mainly weak heal spells.

xX_Raian the Fallen_Xx:A quite but nice staff member who judges everyone equily,If your in trouble its best to come to him and he will surely help you out.He can use both fire and wind magic.

Kurysu: A wise user who mainly uses double-ended swords or dual wields. He's the owner of another site, Prodigy.

Obsession: An artist, writer, and game developer who came to spread the awareness of her own project and also help other members when she can.

Lyric Induced: A young man who's obsessed with various things, most of which being the complete opposite of the other. An Anime Nerd and Metal Head that specializes with Swords (mainly Blue ones).

Music

The game will have a lot of music, from many games. Mainly other RPGs (Final Fantasy games, Super Mario RPG, etc.) Depending on who is in your party, the battle, boss, victory, and game over music all changes.

Most characters have their own sets of music.

Examples:

Battle: Final Fantasy VII Battle Music
Boss: Still More Fighting, Final Fantasy VII
Game Over: Continue, Final Fantasy VII
Victory: Victory Fanfare, Final Fantasy VII

I used the VX character generator to make mine and Lyric probably did the same considering its so hard to draw the sprites manually.

Sure! =D

Though I haven't seen much Futurama. Do you mean like, just an NPC that you can speak to? Or a kind of Gman (Half Life) kind of thing where you're seen briefly but not interacted with?

In Futurama Scruffty makes random appearances every now and then and is usually only seen for a couple seconds.

Looking forward to seeing this project get off the ground.

Sure, I suppose. You'll probably be a Spammer, but it would seem that's what you want.

Well, it's still pretty new. I'm about done setting up everyone's characters, and I've finished the starter of RPG Crisis. (City) I'll be working pretty hard on this though, I want to make it long and give it the best story that I can.

Okay. There'll be loads of NPCs that are RPG Crisis members anyway, though, so it's likely that you'd been in anyway.

I wish I knew about this sooner so I could have opted to be in this...

(Damnit whenever someone does something like this I am always the last to know about it cause I don't check often enough...)
And a community game always seemed to me that it would be more fitted to a Fire Emblem typed game so all the characters got a lot of character build up, development etc.
Cause no matter what in a FF styled RPG at the ned only two or three characters(bad guys don't count) are even gonna get mentioned.

The game won't focus on any character more than another. Though you won't get to choose who you play with through most of the game, the focus will be on everybody. Or atleast, that's what I'm trying to accomplish.
