I don't know what has gotten into us. But we are a community.
A community is...
A group of people having common interests: the scientific community; the international business community. The RPG community
We are supposta be more or less a family and this fighting is going to fix nothing.
For the most part its my fault. But I believed and still do that when a thread starter says he would not like criticism of the game he or she JUST started. I think people should respect that. We need to respect each other. We need to work together to rise above the other RPG Making community's. And if they come over here and see that we are fighting with ourself's then what will that show them? That RPG Crisis is slowly dieing? Well it is. And I for one DO NOT want that to happen. So could we just forgive each other and stop the bickering? It will get us nowhere. We need to work together as a community and improve this place. It's not just EC's job. It's ours as members. So get out there and recruit your friends!

Most of all respect ALL members and treat them as family!
I will start now. And I hope you will all follow.

I hope you are staying Clone. I do believe this site is slowing dieing. If it does die than I have no other forums to go to. I am a member of HB Games but that site is extremely rude. I don't like it there. Unless both of the Ientry sites change their minds and admit their wrong, I am finished in the RPG Maker Community.

Everyone the flaming ends now. I hope EC makes someone trustworthy a mod soon for they can clean up the flaming that has been taking place.

You, Clone, are taking all this alleged flaming too harshly. Such as in the 'RPG Crisis MMO' thread, we were giving you advice and criticism, but you said that we had no right to give you feedback on a game you posted in a forum.

I admit I flamed sometimes, but you need to take everything less seriously and less hardly. Shayde was simply giving you opinion - this is what a forum is for, on the game, but you came back, accusing him of flaming you, then flaming back - this is not what a forum is for.

As a new member, I find it frustrating when I have to observe people having to argue especially in a thread that originally was meant to create peace amongst the forums. The main topic at hand is good, DrDonut best said what a community should do in his first post:

Creating a quality community means you need to have a lot of patience with all the members regardless of who they are. Every person is unique and represents themselves in their own way. Two different people can say the same thing but in completely different tone and word choice. Everyone, no matter how bad (or good) they may seem, can change. Some of the staff members who were good community members (based on what I read) were able to change into the "bad guys" just overnight pretty much. People who cause tension between people mistakingly (or on purpose) can change the way they act by choice at any time.

Regardless of someones past history, we all have the opportunity to change our ways and become better people based on what we've learned. This is something called experience. You will find a 40 year old acts much differently then an 8 year old. There's many things in life you cant learn except by experience.

@Midnight Assassin: you can learn that giving feedback or an opinion in a negative tone can in turn get a negative reaction out of there other person even if he originally didn't mean for it to happen or come out in that way.

@DrDonut: you can learn that not everyone can express their opinion in a way that you would like. Feedback, whether its positive or negative sounding is just that: feedback. Its meant for you to learn from. In school, teachers are trained (and payed) to give quality productive positive feedback to students, but most people in the real world have not gotten this training, thus they have to learn by experience to give productive feedback in a more positive tone and have to be understanding when people don't give feedback in a way you're used to.

@RKO: you can learn that not all people are perfect. His nickname of calling you Frank could have easily been an honest mistake. He admitted to making a mistake and said he would stop calling you that. If I had not read this thread, I may have easily made the same mistake in the future.

We are all people who are full of flaws and need to be understanding of that. We all have our own opinions and our own way of expressing those opinions. A quality community is one where we are not only understanding of each others differences, but forgiving of peoples past mistakes. Instead of focusing on what each other has done or could have done in certain situations, everyone should instead focus on what we all can personally do in the future to better the quality of this community.

EDIT: Okay, that was way past the line for me, Clone. I completely apologise for said email and take back all I said. No, my father never died - I was just falsely pissed at my suspension. It was in response to Clone's fake suspension for me. I thought he needed to be told straight up what was going on, but boy was I wrong.

That was his mistake to continue to do so. As I was saying, no one is perfect and he was having poor judgement by doing so. Looking at some of the other posts people have made about him, it sounds as though he has made many mistakes. Give him the opportunity to change. If he doesn't, people will dislike him even more, which in turn will (eventually) cause him to leave the community because he will have no one to talk to anymore.



The fact that he apologized is the point. Yes, maybe he didn't do a perfect job of it, but he did take the time to do it.

Okay, it was a mistake. At least accept a now-stated apology. I want to help this forum and have always wanted to. It was never my intention to wreck RPGC, nor to make it thrive - I just wanted to become a member and learn about RPG Maker/IGM. It all went awry when I started flaming and trolling, but I've stopped now. Can't you just accept my submission? Can't you just live with the fact that I've changed now? Can't you even accept my change?

Now STOP just a second please. He said two separate things:

1. He came with with the original intention of being a productive community member.

2. He mentioned he eventually started flaming/trolling. That statement was not in relation to the fact he still wants to be a productive community member.

He obviously made a mistake when he started making bad posts in the forums and regrets doing it. Give him the opportunity to prove that to everyone here that he can be a different person then he has been. The best way to start doing this is to STOP continuing the negativity. From my point of view, he is trying his best to apologize, but people are too upset to truly understand that right now.

Everyone knows that I do not want to be called Rootbeer because that was a very old name I went by on RRR. RRR did me wrong and I wanted that to be left in the past I had my changed. I asked people to call me RKO, Franklin, Rated, RATED-RKO, or RATED-RKOFRANKLIN.

basically from what i've seen is that this site was peaceful and able to get along well then DrDonut aka clone,Midnight and several others came here and at first everything was fine until midnight may have said something here or there which caused clone to react harshly which caused others to react to clones reaction which basically messed the site up.to sum it up if you clone/DrDonut and you midnight assassin stop your foolish games we can all return to our peaceful lives at this community that we all want to thrive.

Is it really that hard to be friends with everyone? Were all members of RPG Crisis, I dont care if you were banned from an RM forum or hate a fellow member, keep your personal problems personal and don't let it affect you or anyone else while visiting the forums. This thread started with good intentions and quickly spiraled out of control because everyone decided to dump their problems they have with others in this thread. A few have attempted to stop it and/or offer peaceful advice or views but it didint work.

I want this crap to stop now, everyone needs to use another medium besides RPG Crisis to work out their problems and stop creating so much unneeded drama from the stupidest things. Everyone should learn how to accept critisim even if its not what they wanted and learn how to respond in an appropriate way. Attacking someone because they dont agree with you or gave you some negative feedback is childish and a waste of time. Getting upset because someone called you a previous nickname is a waste of time, politely ask them to call you by your new name instead of lashing out. If someone apologizes for their past actions act like a grown up and accept it, dont ignore it or shove it. It makes you look more immature.

Honestly, you guys fight over the dumbest things, you think after what just happend here it would make us stronger but instead I see constant fighting.
